Art Harris- Playing with his food again.

On this week's blog, i want to introduce you to another one of my good friends and brand ambassadors, Art Harris.      Art placed an order shortly after I began marketing Koss Sauce and the rest is history. I feel as if I have known him all my life. If I had to use a few adjectives to describe Art they would be genuine, funny, down to earth and creative. He often describes his food creations as "playing with his food."       Art began the phrase " The Koss" . He as well as my friend Joe Landa(who I featured in my last blog) started both of the phrases that have become favorites. Joe started the...

This interview is with my good friend Joe Landa. Along with talking with businesses and people here in Virginia, I also want to introduce you to those who I admire and have influenced me and have made Koss Sauce the brand it is.      Joe was one of my first customers and quickly  became one of my closest friends. Chatting bbq with JK Reeves

I want to begin this blog by saying how much I enjoy meeting people from Virginia, as well as from all over the United States and abroad. I love to cook in general and I enjoy learning ideas and tips from the bbq community.       Being a part of the bbq community is just that a community, not a competition. Each person whether are a grillmaster or like myself, create a unique sauce or rub, each have their own way of creating.      One of the wonderful people that I've had the opportunity to get to know and chat with is JK Reeves. I have always admired his posts on social media and he does a...

Black Pit Q grilling it up in Lynchburg

One of the first people to reach out to me and place an order for my sauce was Blackpitq, better known as Russel to his family and friends.      I recently chatted with Russel to find out a little about his background and what turned him on to grilling.      Russel along with his girlfriend and his dog moved from Philadelphia,Pennsylvania to Lynchburg, Virginia in 2010. They moved here to be closer to family which is a big reason many of us are here in the state.  He says that along with being close to family, he has made many great friends and has been shown what southern hospitality is all about.      Russel has always...
